About Natalie

Leadership isn't learned from observation alone. It is shaped by the decisions you make, the challenges you navigate and the responsibility you carry when the outcome matters.

My career has been built from inside organisations: leading both large and small teams, navigating complexity, making difficult decisions and helping organisations move forward through periods of significant change.

As a former CEO, current Non-Executive Director and mentor, I bring more than 25 years' experience leading organisational transformation, operational improvement and strategic renewal across aviation, transport, infrastructure, education and purpose-led organisations.

That experience includes serving as CEO of Container Exchange (COEX), the organisation behind Containers for Change in Queensland; Chief Customer Officer at G8 Education; and Group Executive, Customer and Corporate Affairs at Queensland Rail, where I regularly acted as CEO. Earlier in my career, I held senior leadership roles at Qantas and Heathrow Airport, after starting my career with Thomson Holidays and Britannia Airways (now part of the TUI Group) in the UK.

Today, I serve as a Non-Executive Director of Mildura Airport, a role I've held since 2022, and support the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) as a committee member on its Aviation & Logistics, and People & Culture committees.

I understand the reality of leadership because I have lived it: balancing competing priorities, making decisions with imperfect information and creating alignment when the path ahead is not always clear.

My focus is clear: bring clarity to complexity, support courageous decisions and help organisations move forward with confidence.

Across my career, I've worked in sectors where leadership decisions have a direct impact on customers, communities, employees and long-term business outcomes.

I have led through transformation, operational pressure, disruption, public scrutiny and renewal, always with a focus on creating organisations where people understand the direction, feel valued and can perform at their best.

I believe culture is created through the everyday decisions leaders make and the behaviours they demonstrate. It is not built through statements, initiatives or posters on the office wall. It starts at the very top.

Outside of my advisory work, I value the perspective and balance that comes from life beyond leadership.

I enjoy exploring new places through travel, cheering on the Brisbane Lions, enjoying Queensland's many beaches and making the most of time with family and friends.

These moments give me the space to recharge, stay curious and maintain the perspective that is essential when supporting leaders through complexity and change.
